Stan leads the development and implementation of short- and long-term information technology plans for Freire Schools, with the goal of improving existing systems and making recommendations for enhancements. He also supervises and supports IT staff at all Freire campuses. Stan believes he is able to do what he does today because someone took the time to introduce him to the IT field and mentor him. So today, he frequently mentors Freire Schools students. In working with these students, he hopes they begin to see technology not just as a toy but as a tool and a career in technology as a potential path to better lives.
