Coming from India but raised in Philadelphia, Sebastian stands as the trailblazer in his family, being the first to earn a college degree. In his role as a staff accountant, he provides comprehensive financial, administrative, and clerical support to Freire Schools. His responsibilities encompass processing accounts and incoming payments, while adhering to financial policies and procedures. Additionally, he handles day-to-day financial transactions, which include the verification, classification, and recording of accounts payable data, as well as the preparation of bills, invoices, and bank deposits.

Sebastian’s unwavering commitment to his work is driven by his passion for the daily smooth operation of Freire Schools. He believes that by prioritizing the needs of Freire students and ensuring they have access to every opportunity for growth, he is paving the way for a brighter future not only for the students themselves, but also for their families and the community at large.
