At Freire, Paul leads digital and remote learning, ensuring that all students receive an education worthy of them regardless of the world’s circumstances. He works at the intersection of instruction, strategy, technology, and innovation – helping to re-envision what’s possible for learning while continuing Freire’s commitment to empowerment and critical thinking. Prior to this role, Paul was the founding Head of School for Freire’s Wilmington campus and served in that capacity for five years. During that time, Paul was awarded the Delaware Charter School Network’s 2020 Impact Award for charter school principals, and in 2017 was awarded Teach for America Delaware’s Excellence in School Leadership Award. Paul is currently a NextGen fellow at the Pahara Institute and was previously a fellow with Lead for Delaware.
