In his role as Operations Manager, Colandus works with leadership and staff at each Freire campus to ensure smooth day-to-day operations at each of our schools. Colandus comes to Freire Schools after 10 years of service in the U.S. Navy, where he served in an FA-18 squadron in New Orleans, LA and different levels of the Navy’s Expeditionary community in Virginia Beach, VA and Lakehurst, NJ. Colandus is a native of Camden, NJ and was drawn to Freire Schools by the background he shares with many Freire Schools students.
